Hey !!! And we are here!

I will be using this platform to talk about the thing that matters most to my heart and to my stomach which is food.
Food is something that brings joy to every one of us no matter what age one is. We all have fond memories of food that we associate with good times , be it someone’s memory of hot chocolate on a cold winter day or eating sweets on a family get together on festivities like galloping 10th modak in a row on Ganesh chaturthi or eating a plum cake on a Christmas eve. Food has always played a big part in bringing people and communities together. Can you ever think of a celebration without food? (Off-course there’s alcohol on the table which is technically food too) 😛
Food never fails to cheer you up. Personally for its been therapeutic to eat as well as to cook food and share it with my family and friends. I have been fond of food ever since I was a kid. I would run around the kitchen to help my mom make food (at least I thought I was). Watching my mom in the kitchen and Nigella in her kitchen (on TLC, among other shows) intrigued me to try what I saw. As I tried and experimented with food, I found that cooking isn’t only about flavors, texture, colors but also the smiles it brings to people around me. My fondest memory of food is when I baked a black forest cake and my father refused to believe it wasn’t store-bought.
So in coming posts I would post about my favorite ingredients, food, dishes and their recipes!! Stick around for more!

Bon Appétit !
